not commissioned!! and sold

And the end:

On 26 April 1851, George Home with 2 passengers and a crew of 17, was lost

Barque George Home was abandoned 150 miles SSE of Kangaroo Island. With eight feet of water in the hold, she was beginning to break up. The crew took to the boats and were rescued near Cape Jervis.
